Evangelion 9th Angel Matariel

Matariel appears in a gigantic spider looking with four long leg attached onto it's hemisphere shaped body. It has many eyes but the central eye on the underbelly could secretes a strong solvent which is capable to melt through concrete and steel. With a similar tactics used by the fifth Angel, Ramiel, Matariel attempt to burn a hole into GeoFront using it's solvent. It does not possess any other offensive armament other than it's strong solvent.
During the appearance of Matariel in Tokyo-3, the city is is experiencing an almost total power outage causing the EVA units be sent out for battle using it's internal battery and an additional mounted battery unit.

Matariel Facts

• A Descendent of Adam, the first Angel.
• AT Field capable to protect itself. Relatively weak compared to other Angel.
• S2 Engine capable to regenerate itself.
• It's height is about 520 meters tall and it's body in 230 meters diameter.
